Liverpool loses Luis Diaz until December

On 9 October 2022, Colombian forward Luis Diaz was injured in the 42nd minute of Liverpool's match against Arsenal, a match that ended up being won by the londoners 3-2. Guajiro's injury occurred while he fought the ball against Arsenal player Thomas Partey, who unintentionally fell on the Liverpool player and prevented him from continuing to play the match.

The injury of the Colombian despite not being serious and not requiring surgery will leave him out of the field for two months, it is expected that he can play again until 26 December 2022 in boxing day, a game that Liverpool will face aston villa in the villa park stadium. Coach jurgen Klopp mentioned that the injury to the Colombian forward could have been worse, but it is still a major loss for his team considering that the Colombian has been an important piece for this season, Luis Diaz has scored 4 goals and 3 assists in 12 games this season. 

The news of guajiro's injury reminds colombians of the injury suffered by Radamel Falcao Garcia in January 2014 when he was at his best football moment and did not allow him to attend the World Cup Brazil 2014, an event that would have been his first World Cup participation.
